A licensed 100 ton Master, and documented Marine Engineer.
Jerry has operated vessels for NOAA, was Engineer on the Fishing Vessels Norpac and North Command, and has operated vessels from Sitka to Nome and west to Dutch Harbor. Captain Adams has operated and maintained the PS for the last several years.
Jerry has owned and operated offshore trollers working in Washington. His experience includes King Crab fishing in the Aleutian Islands, Salmon and bottom fishing on his own troller / longliner, and has tended in the capacity of engineer throughout all of Alaska.
Jerry grew up yachting and exploring in
the most exposed and remote areas of Canada and Alaska. He is an accomplished
cook and has an excellent track record entertaining and guiding guests.
The captain's interests include beach combing, hiking, and swimming as
well as amateur oceanography.
